Today marks the launch of the third Digital Lightroom competition. The theme this time around is ‘Still Life’. This is a very broad theme with lots of scope for you to exercise your imagination and creativity. Adrian Pym will be posting tomorrow on the theme of still life with pointers as to how you might approach the challenge.
The purpose of this competition is to celebrate the photography we see here every day on WordPress. We’re not interested in the equipment you own or your level of experience but your eye for a photograph. It’s all about the pictures.
We have 3 great prizes on offer from our sponsors at Topaz Labs.

You can view the rules of the competition here where you will also find the submission guidelines. You can also read a post specifically on the submission guidelines here. Please read these carefully before submitting you entry.
We look forward to seeing your photographs. This is a very open competition and we really do encourage everybody to have a go regardless of the equipment owned or level of experience. You might just surprise yourself as Camilla Lee did when she entered the first DLR competition and won second prize.
